Activity 1/2/3/ Winter learning journey

Why we should not trap predator because
1. God made them like that and they are unique in there own way
2. we shoukd not be killing animals because they will come back again if we stop killing them they won't bother us anymore
3.possums like eating birds and worms and slugs

  1. Kia ora Akesa,

It is great to see that you took the time to complete this activity. It is one of the most challenging activities in the programme and you have clearly thought carefully and critically about the issue. Nice work!

I do wonder what is going to happen to the non-native predators in New Zealand over the next 30 years. I suspect that they will be captured and removed, however, I do think that we have to be careful about jumping to conclusions and removing them before we have considered the positive attributes that they have. It is important the consider both sides of any situation, isn't it?

Great effort, Akesa! I really enjoyed coming to St Pius yesterday to hand out the certificates and prizes. I'm already looking forward to coming back in Term 4.

    See you then!

    Cheers,
    Rachel
