I love the Matariki festival! My son, Aronui, is actually born during Matariki so it is a very special time of year for our family as get to celebrate the Maori new year and the next (new) year for Aronui at the same time! Of the three events listed above, which one is your favourite?
My favourite thing to do is to walk through the lights and take photos. They are always so bright and beautiful!
