Narrative Writing

Deep Thoughts

Lying in bed, motionless, eyes closed, long deep breathe Rachel struggled with her life. Tick, tock, tick tock went the support machine.  Sione and their 2 children watched his wife fight for her life. The cancer is overtaking her body.

Sione can not take it in. He left his wife and children and went out. The street lights struggled to shine through the foggy night.  He drove to the beach.
Wanting to end it for himself too as he  can’t cope with it all.
Watching the waves crashing angrily to the wall, he wanted to jump and join the waves.

Deep in thought, he saw images of his two children rushing in together with the angry waves.
He came to his senses and cried his eyes out. Not sure if he cried for himself or for his wife.
It started to rain but he can’t feel it. Soaked and colded he went back to his car. He decided to go back to the hospital.

Ding, and the elevator spit me out. Slowing dragging himself to the ward, peeking inside he saw his 12 year old girl bending over the bed and he knew that she has gone.

  1. Hi Akesa my names Aimee and I'm a year 8 student from Blaketown school. I really love your narrative writing piece. I have to say that it's very well written and I love the thought and detail you put in, to create this wonderful story. It is very deep and it made me think of the whole concept of the topic. Keep up the amazing work!

    Bye!
